Lucky White Heather ? Fron Diff Gone : 1 day after buying !!!

Strathearn have checked the diff and are happy that the Ashcroft coupler and new prop will fix. Fingers crossed. Interesting though that the recall on the front diff for this was done in 2004 accoring to the dealer who searched the history for me (thanks to Taggarts in Mothewell). As such...

    P38 : Just lost all power !!!

Fair points stopover. Nonetheless I still think the old bus was at that tipping point where it was becoming really easy to spend cash every 6 mths or so. Last year had full disc / brake replacement plus all the track rod, drag link, UJ etc done. Undoubtedly it will be a great car for somebody...

    P38 : Just lost all power !!!

Yes it does. When you try select a gear absolutely no engagement. Could be linkage (he hopes desperately) or selector mechanism I suppose but knowing the P38 its likely to be something way more expensive.....

What mileage are you getting on LPG?

Buttas Good to know somebody else is on the wrong end of this equation as well. I am getting 12mpg from LPG which is shocking. The engine has a torquemax cam which may not help. I really dont feel the system is at all well setup. I was tempted to go buy a nice reconditioned 4.0 lump which...
