I searched, before anyone starts, and kinda found a link to my problem, but not really pointing at a cause. Ive a 96 300tdi disco, was my dads, so just had a basic stereo in there, cos all he was bothered about was listening to radio 4. Pulled the old one out, put my stereo in it, all was good...

Well just to make you feel crap, been onto Sureterm myself today as mines up next month, and fully comp, with breakdown cover, paying by direct debit, just over £480. Would have been about £100 cheaper if Id been able to pay up front. Lancaster and Adrian Flux have come back with stupid quotes...

It all depends if you claimed or not. I was crashed into and written off, and had to claim so I could get a new car, and the insurance went up by almost £30 a month, even though I bought something which was much smaller engined etc. Still affecting me now, almost 4 years later!

If only lol. She only lives round the corner, so she insists on seeing her grandson pretty much every or every other day, but wont come to ours (long pathetic story!), so we have to go there.

She's a good lass, so we compromise on things like that. The disco will be for general family stuff, and maybe light off-roading. However, next in the pipeline (once Ive got somewhere to do it, cos Ive no garage etc) will be a 90 of some description, fully kitted out for playing in :D But...
