Been rebuilding a defender 90 for the past 2 years coming upto the third year in august but hopefully finished by then and finally feel like im making progress towards completion so thought i would post some pictures

I know can't work out why the price is so steep surprised somewhere like yrm doesn't make one as they make the rear crossmember and rear silencer support bracket

I may have to as I'm not wanting to spend that much just for a bracket Would have to make a jig and then make it at work as I don't have a welder at home

Hello guys I've just brought a new stainless exhaust for a defender 90 200tdi and come to fit it and I am missing the exhaust bracket on the chassis ( the one after the gearbox bracket) I've looked on the Internet and craddocks want £50 I've also looked on yrm and they don't make that exact...

cheers for the replies will have a look see if theres a flat section didnt notice one when put them into place but might just be missing it if not will try what you guys suggested :)

Have fitted new shocks to a defender 90 and was wondering how you guys hold the shock so it doesn't spin when tightening to the required talk settings? Have looked at oil filter ratchets but they all seem to be chains and don't want to damage the shock Thanks

Hi all this might sound like a stupid question but when refitting the rear calipers does it matter which side of the vehicle each caliper goes I.e. bleed screw at top or bottom? Thanks

Ive fitted old man emu springs so may be an inch or so taller once finished

Been rebuilding my Defender 90 200tdi on a richards galvanized chassis Attached the front radius arms and it had made the diff sit at a very steep angle also making the spring cups lean forward could this just be down to having not weight on the front with the engine and gearbox being out?

So after a long time of not posting as having not made any progress on the defender I have finally started rebuilding on a galvanised chassis. For some reason the forum keeps failing when trying to upload my pictures as attachments The picture are taken on my iPhone 4s :/
