Doesn't removing the cat affect the MOT ?

I haven't tried Redex yet but my disco seems very slow. I have always had V8 Discoverys before so never really knew much about diesels. Its slow pulling away too. If I keep my foot right down on the kickdown it goes ok but I always thought 300tdis were a bit quicker?

Yes that sounds similar. If i start it with my foot to the floor it will go but not otherwise. My mate suggested a non-return valve?

I've got a 300Tdi disco and it stuggles starting. I have to give it plenty of throttle to get it to go. I don't think its the glow plugs as it does it even when the engine's hot. Could it be fuel running back?

Well it is a historic vehicle on the log book whether you think it's right or not. It is a hybrid after all - which means it has been modified.

B & Q. It's not cheap though.

Yes but it's 1972 Range Rover with a retro-fit EFI engine. It's bound to have range rover axles as its a range rover.

It's a 1972 Range Rover with a Defender body on a shortened chassis. It's got a 3.5 V8 on petrol and LPG (although I've never had it running properly on LPG - nor have I bothered trying much). It's got a 2" lift - dislocating cones and kinked hockey sticks. Onbaord compressor with a 9L air tank...

Need the money at the moment. Its tax exempt as well - i'd been after one for years then when I got one I have to get rid of it - Typical !

Because I'm selling it? If I had the choice I'd keep it. Its a great motor - just needs some decent diffs and a winch

I have to admit it was quite funny - but I have never owned a Toyota! I actually own a 1972 Rangerover V8 hybrid ! We just thought it would be funny to see how much we could wind you all up! - it worked! :eek:
