Don't use expensive ACE pipes, as above; standard hydraulics are cheap and better. You can cut the sections that are broken and replace with pipe using 10mm hydraulic pressure fittings. Much cheaper and quicker than replacing whole pipes

Although I thought cornering was fine too with the leak I noticed a huge improvement once it was sorted. I love how it corners now. I kept the old block as a spare, not sure if I will machine it as well and sell on or not. I had it donated to me by a fellow Disco driver.

But you are right that you need to keep an eye on the level of the ACE fluid because it did cost me a pump too when a failed to that.

The pump probably seized because it ran dry, but everything is crap when it is neglected. What I don't understand though is that you say you don't notice any difference while it seems that it never worked properly if your pump seized. Mine leaked a little bit at the ACE block and boy did it...

I paid around £60 for making threading in the ACE valve block to hold normal 10mm hydraulic pressure fittings. That was the only expensive bit. I will only use standard hydraulics after this as well, it is easy, cheap and quick. I would never get rid of the ACE it is brilliant.

Why remove the superior ACE with the anti rollbars and down grade? I notice my ACE kicking in on every roundabout. Just fix it, it isn't that difficult or expensive to fix.

In the left hand side of the tailgate is a wee grill, it is in there.

yep you can just unplug the brown plug of the unit in the back.

Hi All, A friends Td5 was running fine but suddenly the engine stopped while driving. The engine then would start for a but rev up and die again. Sometimes it would not start at all. Nanocom read: 22-1 road speed missing 27-01 injector 1 peak charge long 27-02 injector 2 peak charge long...

"If this fault code was shown by nanocom it might be wrong, double check with hawkeye or other to make sure... or unplug the pressure transducer and read codes again btw do you have the warning on? cos if not the code is hystorical and you can forget about it

Did you get the codes read? Any Leaks?
