    Poor starting & holding back

Turns out it was the fuel pump which will only run up to 1/2 volume, so now being replaced. However as this was not diagnosed till Thursday and we were holidaying in Pembrokeshire from Friday. I have had to hire an estate ( have ) for the holiday. Got a Peugeot 308 1.6 HDI for £173 for 9 days...

    Poor starting & holding back

Defender TD5 2006 105k. I had a recent issue with poor starting, changed fuel filter and improved though not perfect. At weekend starting very poor to the extent that I thought it woul not start, however did so. Since then not pulling well, get up to 40 in 5th and feels like engine tightening...

    Robbing scumbags

No damage at all very clean job, took it with all the fixings and bolts. one of the neighbours did hear a van drive off quickly around 5. When they removed the lights they even disconnected the wiring without breaking the connectors or wiring. So I could connect my original lights with minimum...

    Robbing scumbags

Easy stuff to take, lights and grille just held on by a few screws, roof rack & ladder a bit more difficult but still just a few bolts. Annoying that it must have been planned and that some scum have been discussing when and what they were going to do. LED lights £100, Grille £200, Patriot roof...

    Robbing scumbags

Got up this morning to take dogs out, thought something doesn't look right. Someone had robbed my LED indicators, brake & side lights the grill & light surrounds. Fitted my old lights back on, then whilst talking to a neighbour he said what was in them bolt holes. It was only then I realised...

    Diff Light

2006 TD5 Defender 90 Diff light not working I have checked diff is locking. Looked at dash lights but no individual bulbs all on one circuit board. What is the method of checking the switch at the diff end can it be accessed from underneath or do I need to strip gaiter and move cubby box?

    Police Warning To Defender Owners

The Police could start looking at e-bay sellers and asking them to prove the spare parts they are selling are not stolen. I doubt that will happen though. Also anyone buying spare parts needs to think can they be sure they are not buying stolen parts, not sure how but if it is cheap as chips...

Just fell for an LED issue....known apparently!

I changed to LED on my TD5 and didn't have any issues, the lights are brighter and look good and it was cheaper than buying a Discovery 4 ; - )

    Good to deal with

I just renewed my insurance and found Adrian Flux to be a decent price and nice & easy to deal with. Being covered third party for any car and the offer to upgrade to fully comp for £20 is a good option.
