Morning Past few weeks been suffering with a dead battery after a day or so. Then yesterday the car gave up all together and would not even attempt to start even with a new battery. Several hours of fault finding and checking we found that on many turns of the key some times it would fire up...

evening i bought a spare lt77 box for my 300tdi but now i have got it home i think it might be a lt85 due to being sliver and different from my lt77 now can i use this box or will it not fit and also whats the differences? i was sold it as a lt77 so should i get my money back...

Changed diff oils tranny and gearbox oil and found just 1l in the gearbox and None in the tranny box! did some crap fall out in the form of metal bits tho :-( Filled it with some of the finest fluids and what a difference but now got some drips forming on the drive :-(
