OK, I need to explain - the pin has a shoulder that pulls against the 10mm plate. That is bolted through the 5mm bumper into a bent 5mm plate that goes from the top to the bottom of the cross member and two big bolts go right through the end of the plate, then the x-member, then the other end of...

My bumper had the 5 holes already in it, and a kind of U-shaped support plate that has the 2 long bolts going down through the crossmember (towball mount?) What do you think then? How long until I break it LOL. It's a 10mm Stainless plate you can see there bolted with 4xM12 (19mm) bolts into...

Are these really recovery points? If they are the hooks I am thinking of (teardrop shape over one end of a bolt through the chassis) then they are tie down points ONLY!! Ignore me if you are talking about something else LOL

I was given a small drum of oil (40ltr maybe?) I want to just bung a bit in now and then just to use it - what can I filter it with? Must be something I might already have/really cheap as it defeats the object otherwise... I will keep the mix mostly diesel :)
