Yes I agree but if I plugged the wrong leads into the wrong cylinders the sparks would be firing all over the shop when ports where open/closed. I Just wanted to double check.

Oh this plug had been unplugged we I received it by a previous a owner. I was wanting to know what it's for. The engine ran before with misc unplugged. But inside the car the LCD screen doesn't display properly the messages are faded and faulty wondered if it had something to do with that...

The engine won't start. I'll get into the details of it in its own thread but I had advanced cam shaft timing issues. Open it up reset it and now it won't start. It turns over buts doesn't catch.

Ha thanks guys. Three wire connecter looks like. thin back and blue. Large red with brown strip Large Brown. Didn't realise this but there is second plug also disconnected two pins Both black and blue.
