OK.. so sad to report the bulbs in the dash check out fine ! and yep.. back together and still have the reported fault ( i even switched the bulbs around just to make sure ).. next stop ? still hoping to find someone close by can offer a Fault read... cheers

sounds like a bulb check is 1st then.. before the more complex stuff.... haven't tried to take the binnacle out yet.. are the bulbs easy to access ? will i still require a fault read / reset do you know ? ta

Hey Datatek, i'm confused by the bulb thing ? the red SRS light is on along and the display shows Airbag fault.. where or what would the other bulb be ? Battery is good.. and is now topped up by my new Solar Charger based on your post.. so could be rotary coupler then ? guess that just involves...

Hi All, so i have the SRS Fault showing on the dash display, also the red SRS light is perm ON. i've dont a quick search and read.. so couple questions.. I'm on a 99 DSE, so no seat airbags.. which connectors and where shall i check first ? i see a thread mentioning a steering column...

Hey Datatek, so reading this.. can i just connect the Output from the controller into the Permanent Live feed i should have for the tow bar in the rear light cluster ? no need to run cable to the battery directly ? cheers

hey guys, so got myself a 'semi flexible' 20w panel today, just waiting on the regulator to arrive.. i'd thought about trying to mount this on the roof.. but still tbc on that.. i work away a lot and the car can be stood for 6 weeks.. so hoping this will keep us all topped up summer & winter...

i have one on mine.. it works great ( I'm on a Manual gear box though ).. on mine you can actually adjust the amount of 'extra' power too .. so have it set mid way.. i have taken it off on occasion to see what it's like.. and it really is a big change... i keep mine ON...

i might have a few Spare Sub / amp bits knocking about at home.. but not sure what years they are from.. if you can work out what serial numbers you need.. PM me and i will take a look.. charlie

+1 for cutting and soldering.. i tried and cleaned and tried again.. just keep getting errors... spend an hr.. cut them all 1 by 1 and solder and heat shrink... job done..
