Out of interest how do the injecters differ?

My 2.5TD gives me about 25mpg and that was running just on diesel and now on a veg/diesel mix. I spend all my time on country lanes and quite a fair bit every week off road. £35 did last me the week with everything i did now thats down to £29 with some veg added in.
