    I've had a chipped diesel and an lpg range rover. My diesel would average 19. My lpg 4.6 averages 14 which includes petrol for starting etc. I pay 71p a litre for gas.     I get about 14 but don't forget that includes petrol on start/warm up.

    Thankfully only in my EAS compressor. The conrod bearing broke up causing the car to drop to its stops. Stripped the pump down and got a bearing from our local bearing supplier. Back together and all sorted :) All for £12.50. Happy days !

    Need to get an rf box for mine too. Disconnected the blue wire but my blackberry still works on wifi when I'm sat in it outside. So I guess it could still pick up signals. Steve

    I've often wondered how many "head gasket failures" were really that in the end. Or maybe the air locks/pressure caps/water pump suggestions that have cured overheating questions. Or were they block failures in the end. Steve

    Trouble with the condensation thing is, once the car gets damp inside it will keep on getting damp with use. Check all the carpets for excess dampness in case you have a specific leak. In the first instance I would hang on until we have a nice hot sunny day and leave the windows open for the day...

    All ok now. Voltage never went up or down but new reg stopped the flickering.

    My headlights started flickering, so I removed the alternator and sent it to my local man for testing, although there was no fault found I asked him to replace the regulator pack. Refitted it to the car with a new belt for good measure and now is all sorted. Minus some skin ! :rolleyes:

    The same one that the positive leads already attached to. For those interested my batterys improved tenfold. I never get the feeling the starters slow now.
