hi just to add a note my rr has covered 117.00 miles not sure about the new one supposed to be good, had a blown transmission unit no oil leeks not able to check milage what does egr or pre egr engine mean regards H :o

:ohi there chaps & thanks for the reply, its the bmw engine in mine & the one i have obtained same as omega, but its out of a rr, not sure what fip setup is, iam told my engine has bore wash & it blows oil allover the master cyclinder area & when you remove the oil filler cap loads of preasure...

hi could anyone tell /help me my 2.5dse is breathing heavy returning 19 mpg on 1000 mile round trip to cornwall , I have obtained a rep engine from a simular age vehicle 98 reg but will it fit straight in or will there be a problem with the emobiliser, been told i will need alsorts of electrics...

hi i have a 2.5 dse iam told the engine has bore wash ie diesel poring down the bores and it wont start suddenly , I have chance of another engine from a breaker, will it go straight in its the same year rangie, will i need to modify any electrics as i wont to use the new engines diesel pump...

hi can anyone help i have a 1998 2.5 dse good nick 117.000 miles blowing oil out the breather on offside of engine my mechanic says the rings will have gone, my local engine rebuild centre says does it use oil answer no just completed 1000 miles round cornwall, no rattles , it is hard to start...
