Hi all - wanting to find out what you veg oil burners mix with, and how much. I found that getting closed to 70% WVO / 30% derv was causing lumpy running at low RPMS. Anyone mix with a little petrol?

Sounds like HG... any sign of exhausting through the expansion bottle when the cap is off? If its not visible, it will be worth getting a garage / someone with a test kit to test for fumes escaping through the water system.

I find my D1 headlights amazing! but then, thats compared to the transit (which has a pair of candles, flickering behind the foggy plastic lenses). :D

Yeah, i find that up to around 60% veg 40% derv is OK at the moment. I used to put petrol/diesel mix in my transit, from mis-fuels, etc. Need more of that!

Hi all - just snapped one of my keys for my 300TDi.. am about to buy a new barrel and keys (I have another key, but the key/barrel is worn and its a pain to turn the key, i think thats why its snapped so ...) has anyone got one here in decent nick they want to sell before I approach the crows...

I have a similar problem with my 300TDi. She's low on revs on startup when on veg, and a bit "lumpier" for want of a better term. I get a small flatspot at about 1800 rpm, and if you hold it there, say thats your crusing RPM she jerks a bit. Ran my old transit for years on the stuff with no...

Thanks for the search advice, but hey, i did but nothing came up :D I guess the tank needs to be dropped, its full at the mo lol so will need to wait for it to run out / leak out ;)

Have noticed some fuel leaking on the floor at the rear of the disco, drivers side. Looking underneath its coming from the tank, must be at the top as it doesnt empty out overnight. Anything common? sender unit im thinking ...
