The HEVAC Codes can be cleared by a Hawkeye unit. I had 12 faults before I changed the blend motors. I was unable to clear them with the BBS FCR but I used Enery8's hawkeye and this cleared them no trouble

My BBS FCR which is at the latest version firmware will not clear HEVAC codes either! It was sold as being able to clear these codes so at over £200 it is not that great. Having used both the FCR and the Hawkeye I would get the Hawkeye which does clear codes easily.

Having done my 3 blend motors last week I think £250 is a bargain for a garage to do this work.

Either cut through the lock catch or lower the window and use a long sharp screwdriver in the gap between the window seals to smash the plastic latch mechanism. This will allow a superlocked door to open.

This is why I started the post because my fcr will not clear hevac codes but the hawkeye will. Mine is also at version 1.7.

dougdotcom is near you and has a BBS FAULTMATE Extreme kit as he fixed my DSE when it lost sync. Now that is a great bit of kit. But for a little more than a FCR I would buy a hawkeye because it does clear the codes.

Yes I used the original plug. I had intended to take photos but the job was long enough without and I need to get the car working again. The Britpart blend motors seem ok just the plug. Good price too from island 4x4.
