Hi All My EAS compressor crank bearing has failed tonight. Any recommendations for a cheap replacement. I know island 4x4 have them cheap are they any good? Thanks

Hi I fitted Britpart blend motors a few weeks ago. They are very cheap from Island 4x4. I compared them to the OEM ones and they are ok and compare well. The only issue I had was the Britpart plug was tight in the HEVAC. They work well. They should have a 2 year warranty!

I have done mine. I could not get the Vista laptop to download the software or the Win 7 laptop to run the software. After repeated attempts all day on my Win 7 laptop I downloaded it and with a memory stick put the software on my vista laptop and updated the FCR. The FCR will clear the HEVAC.

I was hoping someone else on here with a FCR had tried the update before I emailed BBS. :D Now emailed BBS.

I can update to V1.7 no problem.

I have read the news section followed what is says on the site, tried the update on an XP and windows 7 laptop. Nothing works! Just thought it was an error by me.

No the Hawkeye is not locked to the VIN as enery8 cleared my fault codes with his unit.

Too right we complained openly on this forum. The kit cost over £200 and did not fully work. Potential buyers need to know the pitfalls.
