    DSE Fuel filter

Just about to change my fuel filter. The old (cooper) filter has an inner and out sealing ring. I have a new mahle and a britpart filter and none have the smaller inner sealing ring? Any ideas if the new ones are correct. They both are listed as STC2827.

The pipe is new with no splits and clean. The MAF is also clean. The box connecttions are good too. I have emailed PSI, but was hoping...

    Classic 300tdi vs p38 2.5 DSE

Having gone from a 300TDI Disco to a P38 DSE I can say there is no comparison. Disco was a tractor and I have seen less rust on the Titanic.

    Classic 300tdi vs p38 2.5 DSE

If only the Classic was as rust free as the P38! P38 body with classic running gear maybe!

    Rear Differential

Think i'll leave this to you "Forum Experts" from now on!

    Rear Differential

But we are talking about backlash not pinion bearing play!
  18. D

    Rear Differential

The back lash is adjusted by moving the crown wheel in relation to the pinion. That is the only adjustment to do.
  19. D

    Rear Differential

The backlash can be easily reset, its is part of the build process. There are two adjustment wheels in the diff to do this. No need to touch the pinion height. What type of land rover is it?

    Two more EAS problems :-(

I have just fitted a Dunlop item from Island 4x4 and have the same problem with noise!!! If I put my old rebuilt pump back on the problem is gone! The old pump had a failed bearing which I have now fixed. Could this be the mounts on the new Dunlop pump? I think I will swap the mounts over on...
