    Cheers mines got the notch so I'll give it a try... if I can't wedge it enough I'll be tempted to just weld the pulley to the chassis with a bar- that'll get the fecker off. Then just chop it off when the bolts out

    Comes in handy when parking, not sure how useful it is for stopping a crankshaft pulley rotating though! Will try a strap wrench & a big hammer! cheers

    3.5 over-revving?

    Hiya, my 3.5 rangie auto is revving up to 1500 in P & N but is fine in all other gears. plugs/leads/air filter & hoses new. It was sitting a long while before I got it Any ideas? Cheers (I did a search by the way!!!)

    Should be able to get top hats fitted for 800 (think thats what v8 developments charge), think it was wildcat (sp) who do them for 600 but have a long waiting list. thats assuming you can remove/strip/refit yourself though... Good luck with the rad

    Others will disagree but I would only use that sealant **** as an absolute last resort (even then its only delaying the inevitable if its a cracked block), I've seen it gunge up everything

    Even if water was to reach the liner like RPI say, surely it would would just work like a wet-linered engine? The bottom of the top-hat liner is sealed
