disco 300tdi replaced discs and pads yesterday took me 6 hours to get a caliper bolt out and an hour to do the other side was gutted .fitted a new air intake manifold gasket today still not sorted my power problem thow cant seam to find out what is causing it

i have now replaced the air intake manifold gasket and it still wont rev above 2500rpm when warm but noticed there is a hole in exhaust down pipe could this cause los of power any ideas welcome will try anything

please can anybody help with this problem

ye its all blocked off properly and got a stright through exhaust pipe i have tryed all sorts and still cant resolve it it will be something stupid well i hope it is

the egr was removed when i got it do you have to alter fuel when it is removed not sure if they did it corect

i have not checked thewastegate and it moves with resistance but as i understand it that is ok because it has a spring inside .i started it up today and it was reving to 4500rpm until it got warm then it started playing up again it wont rev above 3000rpm sometimes 2500rpm then it is like its...

sorted it with a load of wd40 and a big bar it now moves car still the same thow but this bit is eliminated

i have now disconected the waste from the manifold but the bar wont move but the manifold end is free

hi yes checked all hoses thoughly and i taken them all off today aswell as the intercooler and cleaned them all out in petrol got loads of muck out of them i also changed the pipe from fuel pump to turbo as when i was cleaning the old one i broke it (dough) well i know it definatly not blocked...

as i have read other posts and there are no marks in the rust to show it has been moving i also tryed moving it manualy with engine off and running also watched it while reving it it just stays still im not sure what i am sapose to see if anything just wanted to eliminate it from it not reving...

i have tred pumping manualy with blead screw open but i dont feel any resistance and nothing coming out .thought it might have something to do with engine lining up so flicked engine a little bit and tryed again still same and i have tryed flicking engine a couple of times but still no joy. it...

hi how do i disconect the wastegate bar as i suspect it is siezed

i have heard that it could be the lift pump but would like to check the waste gate as it was stood for a while before i got it and i have a feeling that it could be siezed how do i check wastgate isnt siezed im not sure how to disconect bar

i am getting presure from torbo pipes and it is expanding ok how do i take waste gate bar off so i can check it dont fancy taking intercooler apart untill i have checked the wast gate

chears pipe stays the same when reving not run engine with pipe off but will do in a min and have to wait till light till i can check the other bits

is the waste gate the bar under the turbo would i have to but a new hose how do i check intercooler sorry but i am a newby :confused:
