The ford focus ecotec 1.6 diesels are £20 tax and close to that 70mpg on a run ! I stick with my TD4 @ 30mpg for winter use & piaggio scooter @ 90mpg + & no traffic queues in the summer :o

Mine is blanked off at both ends with a short length of 4mm I.D vacuum hose & a 5mm shelf peg ! There is all the info on the EGR thread at top of page ? There is a member who was offering piece of pipe and the peg for free !

You must be fitting the kit wrong , The freelander should have the spring tensioners on cable ? I have done a rear window with a kit but they normaly break when it's freezing cold & not the best time to fix them ! Next time will buy an aftermarket compleat unit on ebay like this LAND ROVER...

You sure it's from the drum cylinders & not the copper brake line into back of drum , Mine needed replacing as was corroded ?

Genuine landrover ABS sensors are £251+vat+fitting thats each :eek:

That hydrometer will not work with the OAT coolant the plastic bit just floated on the top and reading with above 0 degrees C Ok for the old blue stuff & screenwash only !

5w-30 fully synthectic . I use the castrol magnetec that halfords sometimes has on offer @ £17.50 . Flush - can't harm , Fuel treatment yes but not sure about the ZX1 I would not add anything to oil , Just buy good oil and change regular . Have you checked the EGR valve for crude ?
