Petrol ones DO have the fuel pre-heater (I have one on my V8 petrol) but it was a customer option (I think all the TD6s come as standard but without the remote control unit in the back).

Try pushing the button twice in succession with about 2-3 seconds gap. That should do it. or fold in and do the same. this should re-set it. If no luck, go look on fullfatrr.com and do a search.

Not sure which part you mean by the relay but the numbers I have for mine are as follows: single socket (plug-in): YWj 500460 or VUH 000020/30 Double socket (plug-in): YWJ 500450 or VUH 000040 interface (relay? small fag packet sized box): YWC 000840 Hope this is of use?
