If you can convert you welder to run Ali then it's roughly the same process to weld mate

If you can weld that would be the best option, if areas are riveted together just remake the same piece and rivet together but if the corrosion goes further then that i would just cut everything out and remake and weld it for strength. Hope this helps Chris
