    Defender vs Discovery 200tdi Radiator

So where does the difference lie? AlliSport's 200 frames are more expensive for the Discovery variant than the Defender, maybe because they're slightly larger? I'll ring them on Monday and ask. Why is nothing simple :D

    Defender vs Discovery 200tdi Radiator

More than likely a question that has been asked many many times but I've been searching for days and found nothing that answers my question. I'll start off with the main problem. My 19J's radiator is kaput, missing fins, corroded, leaking etc so it needs replacing. I don't however want to...

Defender Build Thread "A Long Road Ahead"

Fantastic read dude. Whereabouts in Portsmouth are you - haven't seen this little gem before! Edit: Probably because it's not on the road, woops lol.

    Speedo problem

Ooh thanks dude, will keep an eye on those! First one has a clock too, been meaning to get one for a while.. Coming home from work about an hour ago, the trip seems to rotate an awful lot faster than if I'm actually doing 30mph. So I'm 99% sure the cable is fine, the speedo is just being...

    Speedo problem

Hmm, need to try that trick next time I'm on the motorway, thanks Kwakerman. Although if it is a speedo problem, I'm gonna wait until I sort more pressing matters out. £160 for a speedo seems bloody ridiculous to me.

    Speedo problem

Have asked about this problem elsewhere but gotten nowhere, included a video too to help explain my problem. My speedo has the usual Land Rover jerkyness, but once it reaches about 31mph, it stops. The car is obviously going faster than that but the speedo remains there until I slow down under...

    12v switchable sources..

One down the road from work, might have to pop down later! Thanks man That and the fact that I'm still a child, and swooping gauges make me feel funny inside.

    12v switchable sources..

Exact thing I pulled out of the toolbox when it happened, too fat to fit through hole, magnet not powerful enough to attract the bolt. :(

    12v switchable sources..

Unfortunately not. I had tackled that earlier, however a screw from the grille has fallen into the mount on the chassis, just above where the captive nut lives, and I can't get it out again. So the bolt won't pass through both holes....

    Tools for the job !

Another vote here for Halfords. I have their 200 piece set and I got it on a 50% promo, so paid £150. Absolutely fantastic. Nothing has broken or shown any signs of weakness even with heavy use, and if anything does break then it can be instantly exchanged with receipt!

    12v switchable sources..

There's gonna be 5 gauges I think, oil pressure/temp, boost, voltage and a rev counter. It's a 1990 90 so I doubt I'll have any excess wiring hidden behind the dash

    12v switchable sources..

Hi all. 12 Way Fuse Box Gonna be installing one of these bad boys behind the passenger seat to power accessories. Only problem being, how can I create switched sources for things like gauges and my CB? I obviously don't want them powered all the time. Could I incorporate some sort of...

defender drivers door opening by its self

Mine keeps flying open, especially during roundabouts. I found it funny at first, but my passengers certainly didn't!

    18 y/o with a 25 y/o Defender.. Well a 90!

Yeah it does, wasn't caused by any stray branches though. Well not all of it. It holds water and keeps the engine at running temperature, so for now there's no need to worry. :) No the horn was unbolted to gain access to two bolts to remove that panel. Awkwardly placed. eBay can be good...

    18 y/o with a 25 y/o Defender.. Well a 90!

Bumper came off to be rust treated and painted, so wasn't there to fend off the tree stump :o The flash makes that rust look worse, but I'll still treat it. Will have to pop down to work and get some Hammerite direct to rust stuff. Most certainly a labour of love! I too have a list of problems...
