The P gasket is the one between the new water pump and the ally casting ?, this leak in further back on the cast iron block, I been trying to load a couple pictures of the leak but not getting on very well, will try again

Got a water leak on my 95 300tdi, it appears to be leaking between the aluminium casting and the cylinder block behind the water pump, have done a search and can not find anything about the sort of repair job this involves, any help would be appreciated, I did change the water pump a while back...

According to my son who lives in Melbourne, Landrovers hold their price and cost a bomb over there, fuel is half what it costs in the UK and you only need an MOT when you sell the vehicle, might be worth looking at taking a towing unit with you as well as your van

Just done a search but not found a lot, looking for advice on best way to fit an oil pressure gauge to my 95 300 tdi. also the best position to fit the gauge in/on the dash Regards PeteC

95 300 TDI, Bristol Torquay and back, one way loaded with tools the other empty returned 37 mpg quite happy with that :) speed on motorway between 60-65 PeteC

Got a 95 300TDI and today filling it up realised I was at a pump only supplying V Power diesel instead of £102.9 per L for ordinary diesel this was 109.9 Anybody use it on a similar engine and what are the benefits or problems you get for the extra cost Regards Pete

How safe is it to just take the viscous fan off, will it make much difference on MPG, any problems with engine overheat ? PeteC

Not a new idea, I first saw them fitted to an Austin 16 manufactured about 1950, there were 4, capable of lifting the corner of the car should the need arise to change a wheel, I have never seen the idea used on any other car, Pete

Are we saying the alternators run at different speeds then with the different size pulleys or am I getting confused, I ask because I have a 200tdi alternator with the 61mm pulley running on a 300tdi engine 95, all seems to run ok, serpentine belt where the 200 was a single v pulley Regards Pete
