    What's the difference?

What is the actual physical difference between the shocks: TO WA159806 and FROM XA159807 TD5 .. as seen here: Koni Heavy Track | Brands And why would the older version not fit the TD5&PUMA models? ?? Lars

AAP sensor reading not correct (?)

No worries :) I agree there is a link but here you have two variables ..

AAP sensor reading not correct (?)

The manual says The MAP sensor works on the piezo crystal principal. Piezo crystals are pressure sensitive and will oscillate in accordance to changes in air pressure. The MAP sensor produces a voltage between 0 and 5 volts proportional to the pressure level of the air in the inlet manifold. A...

AAP sensor reading not correct (?)

How can it not be pressure sensitive? It needs to be, as the turbo pressure changes ... Lars

AAP sensor reading not correct (?)

so the temp reading is at the inlet manifold after the intercooler .. Makes sense

AAP sensor reading not correct (?)

Has anyone noticed that the AAP readings via Nanocom (temperature) is somewhat higher than the actual outside temperature? My inlet system is a bit longer than the standard version but I see to have some 10-15 degrees to high readings .. Lars

TD5 MAF redundant - how to?

    Got it - thank you!

TD5 MAF redundant - how to?

First of all thank you However I am still a bit puzzled. Let's say the throttle is pushed down to provide a 3.0 volt signal. If in the fifth gear and pulling from low speed, it will take a while until the revs are up - even if the throttle signal is 3.0 volt. As the revs are...

TD5 MAF redundant - how to?

Hi Sierrafery! (PM notified) I recently read a note you made on making the MAF redundant by feeding the ECU with a throttle sensor voltage signal. Do you experience any kind of delay/latency related to this setup? E.g resulting in over/under fuelling? Theoretically there should be a timing...

Front & rear shocks - difference in dampng efficeincy?

May need to rephrase my question :) .. would the front dampers work well at the rear?

Front & rear shocks - difference in dampng efficeincy?

I'm looking to fit pin-pin shocks on all four corners of my D90. This means I would have to fit front shocks at the rear corners. I am considering the Koni Heavy Track. Any experience with this and is there anything I should consider? Lars

    110 Roof Tents

The smallest possible! I am really happy about my EzyAwn and the 1.4 would be big enough. I would also not be afraid to buy a used EzyAwn as it is repairable if any damages .. I believe your budget would hold for a used one. Better a used one in a good quality than a new in a bad quality .. Lars

Floflex vs Superpro - not the usual question !!

Update! Replaced the Flo-Flex with SuperPro and got a much better & softer ride! Still firm and responsive! The SuperPro was also a lot easier to fit and the bushings are definitely stronger. No doubt, I will only use SuperPro in the future

    Driving to the Arctic Circle?

Don't think about the diesel - it works fine :) But do fit a new filter before you go, just as already suggested. We had -42.5 degreeC two years ago in Jokkmokk/Sweden - with no fuel problems. The cold create different problems though. If you have no external heat source (220v coolant water...

+2" shocks - but standard springs

Defender 90. I'm looking to get a bit more articulation yet keeping the ride height standard. I currently have HD springs but would like to fit +2" shocks. Preferable adjustable shocks like the KONI Heavy Track. Further I would like pin/pin on all four corners! Which kind of rear spring...
