It's the way to go.;) tried looking for the filler plug today.................unsuccessfully. Tried checking if it is an allen drain bolt............unsuccessfully. Arghhhhhhhh.

I have a few bottles of it in the cupboard but it is hard work. I wish there was something I could just spray on that won't cost the earth. Or I can get the pressure washer on it and make it all one giant big stain.:D

So what does anyone recommend to stop this sort of staining other than hard graft?:( I think the garage tarted up the bumpers and now the rain is removing it.

Great thanks. Why a search doesn't bring this up from the get go beats me. I have to say it is all very daunting. I am used to 'empty and refill' and using a good old dipstick to check it with.

Yes thanks John............I intended to do it your way, a few short interval dumps with it...........just wondered if I could use the lazy way. This machine has been serviced every year apparently and oil and filter changes done every time..............I thing the last owner did it to bribe...

I did do a search for FL auto oil change and got a zillion results but didn't see a hippo one. I've done auto changes before and loathe doing it. This looks like a nightmare and should be well left alone.

With my Paj and a few others the amount of engine oil that comes out is horrendous so like you I would inevitably end up with some tragic spillage somewhere, usually when pouring the old oil into the recently emptied container. I surprises me how I can get 6 litres into a 4.5 litre container BUT...

I have been reading possibly wrongly that changing the auto oil all in one go can cause problems. I was thinking of sucking it all out with my air fluid extractor. Should I? I must admit I generally hate changing auto oil but this one's rigmarole takes the biscuit.

I have pulled the roof liner and there isn't even an insert for a grab handle so to fit one means drilling and using a couple of screws.:(

I spent a bit of time on the drums - relatively.:D - cos I don't take time over anything ...........................too impatient see. I chipped the loose then got the rotary wire on the rest and finally sanded but even then they look less than smooth. Gold or red.............against black...

Before I bought one I read somewhere that the VCU is a service item and I asked about every car I went to see if it had been changed or was on any records of work done and nada. It has eaten up the money I was allocating to the lift so like you it'll be a while before I do owt.

Is that the aerosol or the household paint that goes yellow?
