Just reading a post about drilling holes in the lid of the EAS box, will give this a try next. I chopped out the plugs and soldered them up last year. I will also try a new usb/serial adapter, got a maplins near me that should have one.

What do my fault codes mean?

Thank you to one and all. I know the battery is ok as I changed the alternator and battery together, so probably a bad connector but I did check the BCEM connections last year, just wondered if it may be something else. I will do a continuity check on the D wire in case there is a break in it. I...

p38 range rover air con condenser

If a vacuum test in done then it should be obvious if there is a leak as the gauge will show a drop in pressure, even if it takes 25 mins, it will show. The only time to my knowledge it doesn't show is when the service port it is connected to leaks, but this only happens after the equipment is...

    Strange wire???

What ever it did power it most certainly not doing so now as the earth is not connected. Also it would only have been for something aftermarket like a phone system which prob got removed. It won't be powering any of the RR standard systems as it is clearly been fitted after purchase.

    Ok. A few little problems...

Problem 3: Rear Passenger Bulb Blown. Except it's not. But generally after about 3 flashes, this message shows up, the indicator clicks double time, and the brake light apparently goes with it. While the dash shows this message, along with the light for the trailer (I think) flashing too...

    Sunroof will not set.

Had a problem with mine shutting today, message said 'blockage', so I sprayed WD40 along the slide rails and all works fine now. Before it almost shut before opening itself again. Might be worth a try! Are you holding the button down when the sunroof is finally closed? until the message comes up...

Engine cutting out after approx 10 mins.

I don't know enough about the RR BUT if it was a 'normal' car I would say to look at the coil. When they get hot sometimes a break is made inside and when it cools down the connection is re-established. As I said I don't know enough about the RR, it's probably something much more difficult to...

Or on a race track, rolling road ........ ermm, can't think of anywhere else officer where I would have done that speed  .
