don't buy from paddocks i got one from them and it said Lucas alternator on the site and when it arrived it was a britpart and now after 2 months it packed up.

sent a email asking price and no reply yet. wanted to buy one off the shelf so if i fitted one and cut a hole in my side pannel i can get another to replace it if it rotted off or got broken and its easier to sell it on if i ever did if some one knows they can buy replacement from some where.

double cardon prop is only needed on the front if you fit Castor correction arms you should be ok but the transfer box end will ware a lot quicker, the standard rear prop should be ok if its just a 2" lift and the trailing arm will be ok but its a good idea to get a cranked one as it will put...

yes it was in mph and redhand my buddy has a 2.25 diesel series 2a and that dose 60mph flat out are you getting the diesel and petrol one mixed up. my series 3 2.25 petrol engine did 83mph flat out before i stuck overdrive in. only thing it only did 15mpg if you were good gentle acceleration...

i didn't do any thing to it only when the engine was removed we noticed it had been ported but don't know what else had been done. and when i say well over 100mph i think it was 115mph and it was really pushing it. :focus:

leave it on the petrol 88 and sell the 109 my 88 series 3 ported 2.25 petrol had a overdrive on it and you get well over 100mph on a nice long bit of stubble field o and watch out for ruts it hurts having girders as suspension.

the 90 is better but mainly when going around corners and not getting crossaxled but its mainly down to what tyres you are running and how skilled the driver is. don't forget if you are driving a 110 and are following a 90 off road take a different line from it is as you have got a bigger back...
