Afternoon chaps, iv ordered a egr blanking kit off ebay for my L-series, what i want to know is when you fit the plates to the exhaust and manifold do you still leave the egr and cooler in place or does the kit remove these components? Also with the blanking plug does it block the small vacume...

with the decat, when it comes to the mot, and they see i dont have a cat fitted i.e a straight through pipe will this fail the mot?

ahhh right i didnt know this that diesels dont need a cat to pass a mot.. Stupid question then why are diesels fitted with them then?? Im guess to keep the tree huggers happy? Also do the L series even have a cat fitted i only ask because im amused that it did have one
