Yes I understand what the grades mean, but land rover don't state in the service Manuel that 5/40 is ok to use, the 5w just means it's thinner from cold but couldn't that cause problems for a engine not design for that grade? With a 5w grade being thinner from cold could mean oil seapping into...

That's right I have the older rover engine, it says in the manual to use 10/40 what if u used 5/40 in there? Since it is a fully snyth surely in theory it's a better grade to use?

I brought the decay pipe off eBay as well as the the egr kit, I'm gonna fit the decay sometime this afternoon when I can be arsed. The egr kit was really easy to fit except the hex bolts on the exhaust manifold where a bit of a pain in the arse to remove, but your pics helped out alot Matt. You...
