Recently acquired my td5 minter inside and out tbh just a couple of niggly thiings, 1. It tramlines slightly after retracking thinking damper or bush somewhere??? 2. Steering box is leaking poss replace the bottom bearing in it and put some stopleak, this could poss lead to the tramlining...

The sounds a bonus I spose;) just tryna work out the benefits and pitfalls as I'll be towing a cattle trailer long distances as in Staffordshire to Carlisle at times so economy and pulling are on the list

Hey there who's removed the middle box from their td5?? Benefits?? Any loss of torque like you do with the 300's?? As I know the td5 tries to compensate for changes itself

Disconnect the switch and silicone them shut ;) lol Check the switches mine were disconnected cos they leaked profusely

The ecu operated pumps were only fitted to late autos, early 300 autos were manual pump I'd take a guess at around the 97 mark but I wouldn't know to Be exact I'm sure there is an oracle online somewhere who will answer in more detail

Yeah zan a 300 will rum bio, a p38 is a Beemer powerplant so runs a different pump that don't like bio.... And I woulda thought u'dve put cherry up there for a laff

Well I've done it, I've gone out and put a deposit down on a td5 s 5 seater so no electrics no airbags just hdc, no sunroofs to leak pristine undercarriage and towbars like new, just gettin some waxoylin sorted and picking up thurs, so different to a 300, and that burble..... Straight through...
