I have exactly the same problem - got stuck in a bad traffic jam today on the Dartford crossing and could barely change gear in the end. I've bled the car out numerous times and also changed the master cylinder so I'm thinking of doing the clutch. Is it also worth changing the DMF?

Thats a good idea using chain spray. Ive got a spare tin thats no good for my motorcycle as it dont grip the chain well enough, throwing off creating a mess.

Reading the post it's the low pressure one. This can be found just in front of the offside rear wheel arch. The low pressure pump is in a housing complete with the cylindrical shaped fuel filter. The Bosch high pressure pump is in the engine bay close to your oil filter. Always worth looking at...

Ive been looking around my engine bay today looking for air leaks and the only one Ive found so far is from a round hole on the right hand side of my air filter box - circled in yellow on the picture. Is this meant to have something pluged in to stop air blowing out? cheers all.
