it is ex mil but has the normal crossmember and as the nato electric socket wired and fitted

looking to fit the above for future use...its a series 3 lwb 109 and already as the nato and noemal electrics installed....on the rear xmember all the holes are they but my ate just says i need the plate and ball....is he right and where can i get one

unfortunately they were a couple of owners before me since it was demobbed in 1997, will write to the main man and see if he can help...many many thanks for the helpful replies chaps;)

do you mean paddock part number....if so then its a dual line servo version or the part number if stamped on the original master cylinder....got a girling here as spare but will get back to you ian

my 109 was made in 1984 and served in the forces till 1997...is they a website that can trace its military history....just curious

looking for a dual line servo type one for my 109 series 3 lwb. been on paddocks and seen 2 there but different prices:eek:...is it quality ie lucas or do i need to check number on mine etc

had a problem with the side lights on my series 3 as one side worked whilst the other had the brake light lit instead...a bt of head scratching as they worked until i did some body whacking:D...was told it could be dodgy earths etc so i got a couple of lucas connectors and checked...

removed the tank in 10 mins as the inner bolts were not even tight so tank as been off before:rolleyes:......breather not connected and air transfer was broken but area was dry as a bone so not leaking where i had hoped for:o.....filled tank with water but no obvious leaks but was really damp...

on my 109 lwb.....was adjusting the rear tub/hard top with a adjusting hammer:D when i noticed a stronger smell of petrol...previous owner told me tank ok but smell of petrol due to breather not connected. had car now 2 months and noticed no leaks but gauge not working etc...its dripping from...

as i work in a bodyshop i have access to any bulb i need foc so we put new ones in.....just the same. must point out that i have never seen what they look like in the dark only in the workshop....also tried them wired directly to the battery in case the wiring was duff but no change....tried...

am not a landy expert by any means but they is one near me that has twin rads at the back so it must work

fortunately we have a defender in for repair and i took the liberty of trying his headlight on my series 3 as my light seems dim as in my previous post etc....what a difference between the 2.....am after another quadoptic now if anyone got one:D
