I don't know of any website but I have a letter form Landrover giving me the build date of my 90, the part of the MOD it was dispatched to, date of leaving service, what it was originally equipped with etc.

Try writing to them with the chassis number.

try a search on google for the ex millitary landrover club, they charge for joining n then i think ya have to pay for them to look into it but they can find out all about when it went into service, what units had it etc,

hope that helps

try the main man.

Mr. Eric Pagan, Project eng.,
Traceability,
Land Rover,
Block 19
Solihull,
West Midlands,
B29-8NW,
Lode Lane, England.

for service records they used to be kept at beverley transport museum, but i think it all got transferred to the the royal signals or logistics corps

That's who my letter is from. The person I bought it off said there had been a fire and the records were destroyed, no idea of the truth of this though.

Who are you asking? I have mine.

I have a letter form the Disposal Service Agency. It quotes my chassis number as being a 90 DSL, what does DSL stand for? It gives it's original military reg number of 66 KF 26 and was registered on June 9th 1986.

It then says that if I present this letter to my local licensing office it will enable them to issue an age related plate.

According to the previous owner mine is/was FFR too but is a 12 volt, did they make a 12 volt version? It served with Ashchurch if that's any help?

i int much up on the jargon for 90,s an 110,s 90 dsl not a clue, but on that sheet of paper should also be a unit or regimental number that you can use to search, from wot i,ve read elsewhere it was a roof collapse that damaged and/or destroyed sum records, and as for a 12v ffr ya never no wot mite turn up:D

go into google and type in EMLRA and it gives you the ex-military landrover association site, they are really helpful. to join, it's £17.50 a year and when you're a member, they can do a vehicle search for around a fiver. they write to deal barracks where all the records are kept.
