i read alot about that problem, i have a td6 on 22s and to be honest i havnt noticed any vibrations at all (touch wood).

what he said^, put the texaco in. rather than just topping it up it would be advisable to change the filter and oil.

bigger, i got 22s and it made no difference to the way it rides. 24s fit on them and look stunning, they fill the arches nicely but i dont know about the ride on ones that big.

you can remove them with a precision screw driver if your gentle, the easiest way to check them though is to turn them on with the button then put your ear right up close to them a listen. you should hear good working ones clicking, when you get to one thats silent you found the dud.

theres two types for the 322, ones with side steps and one with out. the brackets are needed, they go between the lower section of the mudflap and the body and you cant buy them seperate so dont be tempted to buy cheap ones without the brackets. there 55 quid from landrover so dont pay to much...

i bet the drive cables fooked, my old p38 did the same thing. take the seat out a strip it into two sections, take the leather off and you will see the cable. the only thing to do is buy a new cable to get it working again.

mine did what your is doing, if you take them out you will see on the back that they can be taken apart. the problem is the valve inside is just a bit of poxy rubber that deteriorates and blocks the passage, just take the rubber valve section out a put it back together. it will work a treat after.

i jacked mine up plenty of times without any problems what so ever, jack it up, change it, stick it back down, no probs.

like zen says, change it every 3000 miles and it will soon clean up. i change all mine every 3k with full synthetic and its nice and spanky, even the old p38 dse i used to own with 170k on the clock used to stay clean ish between changes.
