    okay, have preped my rear bumper last nite sanded it right back how ever there are a few areas of 'pitting' to get this perfect with the spraying method would take a while ie, rust cure, primer, under coat, filler , top coat & lacquer. Or I could use hammerite (maybe hammerite smooth) this...

    towing eye I mean at the front the ring thing, I would not paint the tow bar just the bracket. Think I will paint hammerite on the bracket & primer/ spray the bumpers...

    on a diesel you dont have a cat it acts more as a filter., with a straight through pipe the emmisions will be more or less the same.

    Well have my rear bumper off and will be spraying that, also I want to spray/paint my towing eye and rear towbar bracket. Now would I be better of doing the towing eye/bracket with something like hammerite or just spray everything? opinions....

    It was 1 piece on rear. the front is where you have to undo that for corners. J

    DISCO MONEYPIT- i feel your pain, but you have given me the boost I needed re the fixed up parts to move on from this little rut. Cheers! Think I might go for 2 new rear arches think the floor is not to bad! Few bubbles all over worst in my eyes being the ones next to the skylights...

    Well just spent my evening sanding/rust cure/primering my better rear arch out of the both, fighting the rust! My other rear arch needs welding, this one I thought was okay til it decidid to disintigrate on me :eek: Found that annoying:mad:. And made me briefly think about the other arch...
