    Another possible thing could be a split in the hose from the air mass meter to the plenum chamber which makes it run rich when cold, which allows it to run ok , but when the engine gets upto temp. then its too rich and causes stalling .

    I was lucky and all nuts came off okay , and I only needed four individual exhaust gaskets , so the bill was only a couple of quid !
