hi whats the best tyre size do u recommend? ive got 195 80 15 on at the moment but need some new ones all though just passed the mot they are near limet:eek:

no expert but if there is no oil in water or water in oil ive read on anouther forum it could be the inlet manifold o rings leaking but im sure someone will correct me as for the clutch i had a simular problem changed the clutch slave cylinder, clutch assy but the main corse was the clutch arm...

not sure how to remove it but shouldnt be that hard manuals go around the world to tell u how to do a job lol if im doing anything i find look through the manual then just go for it if you get stuck refer back to the manual;)

if you take the thermostat out put it in a pan of water and boil it as the water gets hot the stat should open then cool the water down and it should close, if this dosent happen then the stat is fu**ed hope this helps failing that flush the cooling system the matrix may be blocked or remove...

silly ? but have you changed the thermostat? is the heater getting remotely worm? might be stuck shut

have you noticed a decrease in mpg since fitting these tyres would like some myself but dont want to loose mpg!!!!!:rolleyes:

thanks for the reply;) looks like a new pump then, thought id ran out of petrol the other day as it wouldnt start got a gallon from a jerry can after a while it started :( but then it did it again over the weekend but there was defo petrol in it this time so sounds like its packing up :mad:

hi all could anyone tell me is the fuelpump in the tank? and why would it be making a loud pumping noise? any ideas would be greatfull thanks in advance;)

just check the thin wire going to the starter if thi has broke/come off it will click as you say!!!! i know as it happend to me:eek:

your track rod ends arnt bent they are on a ball so they can pivet when turning the wheel just a thought are the tyres standard size or wider as they could be rubbing on the inner arch!!! whent to my local roen 4x4 today and they had fitted wider tyres to a defender and they were catching put...
