hey derek. how have people got around the amp issues when installing car kits for phones etc? as they usually patch into the speaker lines and throw their own amp'd audio out.

is it a non branded usb converter? google "unknown device identifier" from huntersoft. then have a look and see if it can find you a 64bit driver for it. or you may need to shove a virtual machine on yours to use it. 64bit hads more downfalls than advantages...

u need to get it reset before you go any further really. i've not known them to attempt to move if you have the message up. but if yours is then leave the car running for 15 mins with the door open, then shut the door and listen for leaks.
