My previous Disco (TD1300) had rusty rear disks, they were shot and the calipers had seized which was why they'd gone rusty I guess! Dunno much about brakes so I had the disks and pads replaced and the calipers freed off at a place in Surrey that I've forgotten the name of - very reasonable...

Where is the coolant leaking from? I thought I had a head gasket problem with my previous disco but it turned out the expansion tank seam was leaking and causing the overheating.

Just looked on Wiki, reckons it was a T series as fitted to Rover 820 and others. Put in the Disco because of tax rules regarding engine sizes which were the same in Italy so they had a few too!

Saw one recently, what was the petrol engine like? Seems like it would be way too small for a Discovery, were they any good? Anyone got one?
