I get vibration at standstill as well - and mine is a 2003 4.4 V8 on 18s (I think!). Was wondering if it was an early symptom of gearbox failure. Like every other odd noise/creak the car makes :-) Putting it into N stops it. Cheers, Jerry

Because if I need to replace my lights with LHD ones, I don't want to have to buy a new set of xenon headlights - €€€€€! Halogens seem to be available second hand, I have yet to see a set of LHD xenons second hand......... Cheers Jerry

Well I now have the L322 - will review it in another thread - it does have xenon lights, and I have found the levers inside them despite not being able to find any mention of them in the user handbook. It is clear that the levers just blank the high part of the beam so the light is now clipped...

This. I guess the RF receiver can check to see if it has received a code (any code) of the correct format, and only wake the BECM if it knows it has a code that needs to be checked by the BECM to ensure it is the correct one for that vehicle. So all P38 fobs that send correctly formatted...

PS key code unrecognised is not the error code I get when I need to enter the EKA - I get engine disabled or something like that - so your issue could be something completely different.......

On my 95 DT the procedure in RAVE and the handbook does not work for entering the EKA code. You have to: - lock the car (no need to do it 4 times I think that is for later models) - enter the code - unlock the car - note that the central locking does not work - open the driver's door, alarm...

The P38 has just been sold so it is time to sell on my Nanocom RR P38 EDC pack ... in order to fund an equivalent tool for the L322! - in perfect condition complete with lead - can be used on any P38 diesel as is, or upgraded to work on other Land Rovers. See here for more info...
