thanks again for the comments, chassis is solid thank god, no welding needed, im having the defender sprayed in bonnatti gray metalic, and seats recovered in black and gray leather, when i get all other bits done ill keep you all informed. regards

thanks for the great comments, yes the chain went through the wheel then round the bumper, me and the wife , bless her, used old chisels wire brushes and electric drill with wire attachment that took us 3 weeks in total regards

hi, i need more advise, i have a new-ish td5 o/s door that i'm wanting to put on my 1990, defender 90, although the door looks the same the internal brackets seem different, what i want to know is, will the internal fittings fit from my old door or do i have to buy new ? regards

hi, as anyone tried milkstone remover, seems to be a very good cheap way of killing rust, a lot cheaper than jenalite, if you have I'm looking for someone local to notts area that sells it, i need some asap to do my chassis regards
