    Syncmate

The explanation let me get my head around the potential problem. When it was said that it didn't need to be permanently plugged in as it doesn't happen every day, but also said that the failure was due to read/write failure. I assume (and this is where my knowledge may let me down)... won't...

PX side Reverse light not working

Derek... thank you... through your suggestions I took a much closer look at the connector itself..and Doh! No idea why I didn't notice it earlier.. but part of the green connector is missing as per the pic. Notice the missing and corroded connector. That's me on ebay or scrappy tm trying to...

PX side Reverse light not working

Sorry - I'm a bit dense when it comes to electrics... Take out the unit and connect one meter lead to the Bat NEG and other to the Bulb holder? I'm expecting to see 12V?? Sorry for being so stupid....

    Morocco 2010 - The Movie

Absolutely brilliant... inspirational! You know - you guys don't know how much these vids help in getting the imagination running.... I'm now wanting to plan my trip. Only problem is (or not a problem depending how you look at it) is I have a P38... does anyone know of anyone doing these kind...

    range rover p38 eas fault

Hmm.. take this the right way but... are you following the EAS software instructions correctly with regards establishing coms with the ECU ok before reading faults? a) Can you do a screen shot? b) what are your height settings (Access, highway, std, high and ext) for each corner as per the...

    eas fault

Thank you Turbo... I'll go ebay hunting. See a set for about £20 I think... plus the air hose of course and connectors. Cheaper than a VB kit to find out what side to start fixing. Ta... will keep updated as I move on with things.

PX side Reverse light not working

I know it sound trivial... But I keep getting a fault on the dash telling me that the PX side reverse lamp is not working. And it doesn't. I've replaced the bulb, swapped it over with the one on the Drivers side (which works) and even switched the bulb cradle over... still nothing. I did...

    eas fault

Ahh... didn't think of doing that. Can you set up the inflation valves on a 'T piece' so you can run either? ... but thinking again about that - that would allow the VB to still leak wouldn't it and let the air run back into the VB and out. Just plumb the valves into the end of the lines at the...

    eas fault

Yeh... none of mine look anything like that.lol.. yet! If the ground drys out a bit I'll back under the vehicle and do as much as I can to check for leaks but something is telling me (just a feeling) that its the valve block. Could be (probably am) completely wrong.

    range rover p38 eas fault

I assume that she's dropping herself with an EAS fault message on your dash... She'll drop to the bumps due to recording what is known as a Hard fault. You say that 'its' been running. Do you mean the Compressor pump or the vehicle? I'd hazard a guess that your system is partly working as you...

    why bother bidding!!!!!

Guys... Apologies for the rant to follow. I can understand the frustrations of you 'old hands' at what may seam to be stupid questions from newbies... (of which I am probably still one of). But doesn't everyone start somewhere? TOMMO: I'm sure to God that you at some point in your life you...

    eas fault

I'll have a go.... The pics are in what the dash tells me is Std / normal height (third light up or second light down... depending on which way you wanna go). I have noticed that she doesn't drop into Access very often... but will level herself out when you start in the morning... so something...

Tyres are Kumho Road Venture MT's 245/75R16 Q rated. They came with the car. I mainly do tarmac (he says.. been on a sand dune once since I had her)..lol I expected them to wear but they just show no signs of tread loss all all after 1,500 miles.

    eas fault

As promised... Air bags currently on vehicle. From the looks of them they seam ok?? Rear Driver Rear PX Front Driver Front PX I've also noticed that when driving along at 60-70mph (what feels like) the ass end drops and lifts... I've read somewhere that this may be air being pushed from...

Honestly... No idea! They show no signs of pitted edges though.... I'll see if I can work out how to take pics and post.

    eas fault

How do I test that then... that's the box under the valve block right? I just don't understand how the fault is so sporadic. Would a replacement box (if thats the way I went) just plug in and go or would I need to programe it or something.
