    L322 auto lights

I imagine you can fit anything if you wallet is deep enough, although I haven't heard of anyone doing this mod before. Are you technically minded enough to start fiddling with the wiring yourself? As an aside - why bother? Whats wrong with using your eyes to see when its dark, then turning a...

Range Rover 4.4 V8 *Just Purchased*

If anything, leaving it lowered for long periods of time is likely to be worse for it rather than better, as the bags will be pushed down out of shape, whereas in the normal setting they are at their most natural shape. Just my thoughts...

Leaving my L322 for 2 weeks

You should be fine, I've left mine for longer than that a few times and had no issues. Worse case, you come back and ask someone for a jump then drive it around for a bit to recharge.

    L322 Brakes

Delisle, When you say brakes need changing, are you just taking about pads and discs, or the calipers too?

    L322 Respray near Guildford?

I had a man-in-a-van come and have a look at it (chips away or something similar), said it was too deep and he couldn't help, needs full respray. So far I've been quoted between 500-800 squids. Not cool.

    L322 Respray near Guildford?

Hello all, Some good bloke has gone and keyed all down the side of my Rangey, fairly deep and will need 3 panels respraying. Anyone know anywhere good and preferably cheap near Guildford-Aldershot area? Raging.

    'Fuel Save' petrol

Morning all! Anyone tried out this new 'fuel save' petrol that Shell (I think) has been advertising? Anyone know what the difference is between it and the usual higher octane stuff? Are there 'magic' additives of some sort which are different to 'ultimate' etc... Cheers!

    V8 Exhaust Note

I've got a stainless system from Quicksilver (Quicksilver Exhaust) on my L322 and it sounds like a beast. Don't know if they make them for RRC by default, but I think they'll make custom ones for pretty much any car going. Mine cost me £750 (was supposed to be £900, but you can always barter...

    L322 gearbox - switchable auto?

Mrblonde - ever thought of just moving it left and seeing what happens? Or looking in the manual for the car? Some of your posts on here are comical. Anyway yes, it does go left, puts it into sport mode, which holds onto the revs for longer before changing up. It also allows you to turn it...

Upgrading from a Freelander to a Vogue - Some Questions

From what I've heard from other people on here I think it will need servicing seperately or by a garage which can do both, but its unlikely that most grease monkeys are going to be trained to service LPG systems.

Upgrading from a Freelander to a Vogue - Some Questions

Good point ref Vogue SE bit - I didn't think they even made Vogue SE's in 2004, though I'm happy to be corrected.

Upgrading from a Freelander to a Vogue - Some Questions

Looks decent, but I reckon you could get it even cheaper considering the milage on that. Have a look at this - same price (ish) and has LPG already, and same miles: Land Rover : 2003 VOGUE / AUTOBIOGRAPHY 4.4 V8 * *LPG ** Or this for £12k and less milage (plus nice alloys): GP Cars ...

Upgrading from a Freelander to a Vogue - Some Questions

If you are after an LPG then try and get one with it already done - they sell for pretty much exactly the same price as ones without if you can find them. Have a trawl through autotrader or pistonheads.co.uk, plenty on those sites. Otherwise you are looking at sinking £2k later on to get...

Upgrading from a Freelander to a Vogue - Some Questions

Jodsclass, As already alluded to to some degree, there were quite a few changes between 2005-2006, with completely different engines and transmissions in them. The interiors are largely the same, but some of the other toys mentioned are also missing off the earlier models, such as the reverse...

    Bubbling exterior black trim L322

I may be way off here, but I thought L322 panels etc were aluminium not steel? (which would obviously rule out any possibility of rust) Awaiting being shot down for being wrong....

    For Sale section

Hi guys, Without trawling through the many pages of threads in here I don't know if this has been requested before or not but: How about a 'For Sale' or 'Wanted' section, I'm sure many people on here would use it, both for vehicles and also parts. It could be broken into sub sections for...

Someone else who thinks they can save you 50% fuel

UptheKingdom - I have read your site with interest and am willing to give it the benefit of the doubt for now at least. But please can you provide more info - some real examples of vehicles its been used on and their before and after MPG would be good. Or some customer feedback - surely if it...

    L322 front wing side vents - 2 or 3?

This is incorrect. 2002-2005 had 2 fins, 2006 facelift went to 3 fins. Supercharged had the mesh on both. It had nothing to do with Vogue vs HSE.

What would you swap your rangie for?

I think the disco 4 looks far too boxy - like a van. Also what would the benefif of going from a RR to a Disco, other than it perhaps being a bit newer (for the same price?), they are roughly the same offroad (awaiting flaming!), not as nice inside, not as nice outside, slower, just as...
