    rangerover pickup?

I've seen plenty of defenders/series with pick-up type rears. Thats what you want for a workhorse. RR's are supposed to be luxury vehicles not working vehicles. I don't think LR would consider it for a moment as an official model as it doesn't sit well with their marketing at all.

    me again, need paintwork advise

As above, I wouldn't attempt this myself unless I really knew what I was doing! Probably looking at about £100 for one panel at a reasonable paint place. If the panel is dented then they'll probably just fill it using filler and paint over. Very difficult to get dents out of aluminium as you...

    L322 buying guide?

This has been covered many many times before. Do a search on this forum and all the answers are out there.

    Which Range Rover ???

Given your limited mileage, I'd go for the petrol V8 L322. Its a fair bit more powerful than the diesel ones, and more importantly has a better ZF gearbox which doesn't break anywhere near as often as the ones fitted to the diesel ones (which isn't rated for as much torque as that engine has...

    very odd question

Between the front door and front wheel is where water would come out from the drainage from the windscreen area. So it could be that if you have been using windscreen washer, it would hold a bit of water at the bottom of the screen (check at each side where the drain hole is and see if its...

What mileage is on your Range Rover L322 or RR Sport on?

Mine is on 102k and its running fine (madly touching any wood in sight at the moment), not had any major dramas since owning it. I think its a bit of a myth - they seem to be fine as long as you service them properly and on time (and don't rag it like some sort of boy racer all the time)...

    multi play jamed great!!!!!

I had this happen once. In the end I gave up. Came back the next day, tried again and it came out first time and has been fine since. Bizarre! Maybe just needed a rest! ha!

amp and sat nav stolen from l322

In a roundabout way this could be used as a good 'opportunity' to upgrade to the Mk4 DVD satnav system which gives 3D maps and more up to date stuff. If you search on this forum there are plenty of threads about people who have done it previously. Can't get the satnav units through LR as they...

    Magnatec Oil? Worth it?

Hello again all, Whilst wandering around Tescos yesterday I noticed they have half price sale on Castrol Magnatec 10-40 engine oil (7 quid a bottle down from 14. Can't remember the size now, might have been 1 litre?). I'm going to need a service in the next month or so anyway so thought it may...

    Anyone use Guava Guildford?

It was for sale for ages but even after dropping the price a few times I still had no takers, so looks like its saying with me for now!!

TD6 Inspection 2 and oil help please...

Are you based in the north of the island? (Kassiopi) If so then I think I saw you in April when I wa sover there - remember seeing a RR (dark blue if memory serves) with Brit plates on and thinking ''how the hell did that get here, surely he didn't drive?!''. If that was you, then what a small...

    Anyone use Guava Guildford?

Wowzer, bad times mate! Based on that they don't sound too good! Is it impossible to find a trust worthy and/or competent garage these days!? How were Hunters when you used them previously? Anyone else got anything to add?

TD6 Inspection 2 and oil help please...

Wow, that is very cheap! No wonder the greek economy is going down! Does this mechanic know what is actually involved in a Insp 2 service? If doing it by the book then there are all sorts of things that have to be checked (not necessarily expensive on parts unless something is found to be worn...

    Body parts interchangable?

Assuming the '02 you are talking about is a first gen L322 then yes it can be done with limited technical expertise (The P38 model is possible too but a lot harder). There are companies doing this already: 2010 Supercharge Conversions | DCC 4x4 Sidebars As you can see from the link its not...

    Anyone use Guava Guildford?

Hi guys, Anyone on here ever used Guava in Guildford for servicing? I'm going to need an Inspection 2 service (big one) this year and thinking of going to Guava rather than the usual 'nuts and bolts' indy I use for most things. Anyway any good/bad reviews welcomed... Cheers!

What do people think of Keith Gott LR?

Depends where in Surrey you are. I've used Challenger 4x4 in Farnbrough and have been happy with them so far. Definately cheaper than a main dealer, not sure how they compare to other indy's on price.

    thinking of buying a RR

Is it a late 05 model with a TDV8 (ie. Facelifted '06' model?). For that kind of cash it certainly wants to be! If no then keep looking for a newer facelift one which happened in 06. I wouldn't assume that a dealer sold car is going to be any more reliable than a good private sale one...

    L322 sat nav

2004 Vogues all came with Satnav as standard (although none had touchscreen!). So either someone lied to you about it being a Vogue and have already fitted an aftermarket touchscreen systme or they have nicked the satnav cd player out of the rear compartment!

    L322 satnav update

I've lost count of how many times this has been covered on this forum. Do a search, there is a raft of stuff out there. In short - yes it can be done, but its not cheap. Essentially you need to change the CD based satnav unit in the boot to the later V4 DVD unit from a BMW X5 which costs...
