Sid and I are hoping to get to the LRO show. We hope to go in the rangy, but MOT depending and stuff. Will be good to catch up with youz all :)

Right then, Sid's up for the trip to the show for a meet, dunno if we'll be in the rangy though, need to MoT and tax it first, but we'll see.

I'll check with Sid, see if he fancies a trip out.

I'd prefer to do more of the wild camping. Few days in the sand will do no harm... Bit of sand, helps with the skin complexion :rolleyes:

You will, however, get half a ton of sand and dust in your car. One thing i would suggests, after losing our bull bar, is to make sure you have some proper serious recovery points. I intend to add some to front and rear. Oh and welcome aboard, more the merrier i say :) Cheers Adam

Hi guys, Last trip out i used osmand on my android phone, piddly little screen, but got us out of the crap a couple of times. You download maps from openstreet map which is user contributed mapping site. I downloaded the latest morocco map on the friday morning before setting off, so had newest...

So, for anyone interested in where we went in 2013, here's a map with some of the checkpoints i logged. map on google. Going to do similar for next years route. We have a few ideas/routes. Cheers

If you blip the throttle on the rangy (2.5TD) it seems to rev quite high, but on the way down, the injector light comes on briefly and the engine revs drop very low. It ticks over a little lumpy but seems to rev up ok. Can't take the car on the road as it's SORN. Any ideas please, i don't have...
