    Should be ok if caught quick enough. I've done quite a few and they were caught in time, I've has to fit a fee oil pumps though so be sure to take your time and check it's just the bolt come out and not damaged the pump

    As you've gone to the trouble of removing he rocker cover, whilst it's off make sure the lobe on the camshaft for the injectors haven't worn at all. You'll have to look very closely

    If you can afford to run it then yes I would get it, I've a d 1 v8 which is nice but it generally sees 13 mpg or less Oh and make sure the chassis is solid at rear

    Might still be the engine mounts I replaced my 200tdi mounts with some cheap ones but they were rock hard and vibrate like crazy, so I bought a set from glencoyne engineering after reading his site and all I can say is it's transformed the car, still a todo obviously but a lot nicer to be In now.

    Yes I still have the centre part but it's a total rebuild of the car so I want it looking smart as poss. I really like them full kits but I can't stretch to £400 + vat as I'm buying the full noise killer set up as well. I was just hoping to get something new to cover it all up

    Hi, I've put a heated screen in the defender now onto wiring it up, just wondered if anyone had put a disco relay into it and if they work ok? Also can anyone confirm if the relay for the front screen and rear window are the same relay as I can only see one on auto data Thanks very much

    Pretty much yes, should be free moving and not seized or sticking. Has a garage had a look at the fault or just read fault codes?

    If you have access to a 2 post lift then these are not that hard of a job, I certainly wouldnt try and do a tdv8 with the body on. They are however a time consuming job Assuming we're talking about a sport model
