got disco 300tdi 1995, last year put 4 bfg all terrains on it, few month back noticed tracking was out due to front inside treads worn, is there any probs with handling on road if replace front tyres with muds but keep rear all terrains on, if not is it better to put muds on rear and put all...

got speedo fixed it was broken connection back of speedo board had to get it looked at by local landrover repair garage thanks for all your help.

what about imports heard they no rust due to better weather and no salted roads in winter where they come from, seen them advertised in landrover mags, is there other faults to these that we should look out for:confused:

due to having to work more hours only got chance to check plugs and wiring under disco plus quick check behind dash, all looked ok but notice when steering right hand down going round roundabouts speedo works once straighten up stops working, plan to check steering area under car had quick look...

disco 300tdi 1995 speedo has started acting up needle jumps up and down erraticlly while driving goes back to zero then jumps up and down will not show speed any ideas, sensor on gearbox was changed last year as it was rounded at end. :confused:

well all i want is to see what it would cost to strip rebuild replace whatever needed to make it like new plus add winch,roof lights,snorkle,etc so i can go anywhere and have the equipment to get myself out if i get stuck especially in mud, mountains and over rivers.

anyone recomend companies in scotland or england who would restore disco 300tdi 1995?

thanks for reply, got it fixed with spring kit, only needed one, there are four, 2 long and 2 small circle type. it was one of the circle type. all working well. cheers

thanks pete do you know if there are more than one spring.also worked out that if i put key in door and turn and hold key i can then get door open by pulling on exterior latch, need some pics or diagram to show what lock assembly should look like? any ideas ta:confused:

any one got pics n diagrams of door lock mechanism, mine not open with exterior and interior latch, took off door card can open if i push a part of lock forwaed then pull latch seems to make a lever push up on lock face, see spring which looks ok as done driver door with spring kit, so thinking...

thanks good memory, will try when more time off work due, noticed the other doors all lock with fob even though still using disco and using key with driver door, fob also unlocks other doors so thinking dont need to worry about slave wires when fitting new actuator. i also noticed my book only...

thanks for this. how do i print the diagram when i do it prints landrover page i am viewing. if i do print preview only gives 1/4 of the diagram page.?
