Various opinions but no more than 50% veg oil in the winter mixed with diesel without preheating. Looking at olive pomace oil at the moment as a possible alternative. Has the same calorific value as vegetable and sunflower oil but I haven't found much information regarding its use as fuel.

Worth what someone is willing to pay I suppose. A lot of kit installed on a near mint vehicle could well be attractive to someone wanting a turnkey setup. Not sure it's an ES spec as seats are XS type.

Just picked up a quantity of vegetable oil from Tesco on clearance at £2/3L. Might be worth a look if you run your landy on it ;)

There's an article in the May 2012 issue of Landrover Owner International about a guy who put a 300Tdi lump plus gearbox and transfer box into a D2. Ditched the air suspension, abs, traction control and ACE as we'll in an attempt to make an easy to fix overland vehicle

I've dabbled a little with home automation and it is expensive so if you can make more cost effective modules etc you may be onto something
