Yes it appears to be a very gray area on the net regarding liner height......

Land Rover Radio Cassette 22dc597 with BMW Connector (Round connectors instead of pins) Finally got round to taking it out and replacing with a nicer one. This is the one with the BMW Connector. Thought this may help people wanting to change there head unit without being shafted by Hellfrauds...

Wacked the pulley nut with an impact driver, I was intending to remove the nut to take it apart and have a nose inside...... Bingo.... pulley now spins nice and freely, never did get the nut undone to find out what was actually going on :rolleyes: So I now have a spare alternator

The rev counter now seems to be working but in reverse, the only difference is I've put a different alternator on it???? it is 100% not controlled by the alternator???? I cant find info anywhere regarding it:confused: I get revs when I connect to the ECU via the OBD port (not on the dashboard...

with the engine running my grey remote stat opens at 86, temp drops to 81 within a minute, then obviously slowly climbs. Rad fan comes on at 104 then drops to 91 within a minute (car stationary for these tests) 1.8k engine does all this sound about right? Cheers Simon
